Stats
What the figures on /stats and on each market page mean, and where they come from.
Read live from the chain
Every figure on /stats, /explore and the market pages is read from the gitpad contracts and Flap on Robinhood Chain. There is no separate database. The market list is cached for about 15 seconds.

How volume is inferred
gitpad does not index individual trades. It knows exactly how much ETH each vault has received, and a vault receives about 1.77% of volume (measured on a fork). Volume is estimated as vault income divided by 0.01766, and labelled as inferred.
Two consequences:
- Tax still held by Flap's processor is not counted until it is harvested into the vault, so volume can lag behind real trading.
- The estimate is only as accurate as the measured ratio.
Dollar values
Dollar amounts use the ETH price from CoinGecko and are for display only. If the price is unavailable, figures are shown in ETH.
